The Catamount Center for Geography of the Southern Rockies (CCGSR) and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) have recently entered into a formal collaboration, strengthening our collective research potential and providing enhanced opportunity for thesis studies in geography at UCCS.  Combining our resources not only bolsters support for UCCS graduate research, but also broadens our intellectual base and expands field-study opportunities significantly.  For students interested in physical or biogeography, we are now able to offer access to more than a thousand acres of secure sites in mixed-conifer forest, montane grassland, and alpine tundra.

The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at UCCS invites your application to our Master of Arts program.  For more information, click on the clock tower of the El Pomar Center on the UCCS campus.
